Quality management system regimes such as the ISO 9000 family are widely implemented worldwide, and are an integral part of the functioning of many modern businesses and organisations, both small and large. This course begins by introducing the learner to the concept of quality management and the standards used such as ISO 9000 and its specifications and costs.
The course then explains different aspects of quality management such as Total Quality Management tools and why external benchmarking is used. The course also describes topics such as service quality management and Six Sigma processes used in quality management.
